This course also includes valuable resources, tools and definitions to help you get started with Disciplined Agile.
This course includes 10 PDUs and 1 CPU. It is a foundational course for DASSM.
Introduction
Disciplined Agile is not a framework, but rather a toolkit that focuses on the decisions you need to consider, the options available to you, and the trade-offs associated with these options. It shows you how to effectively combine strategies from Scrum, Kanban, SAFe®, and many other approaches in a tailorable and scalable manner.

While this course provides an opportunity to certify as a DA Scrum Master, the skills learned are valuable to any team member. No agile experience is required.
Overview
- Understand the DA mindset and its underlying principles, such as pragmatism, the power of choice, and adapting to context.
- Principles: The principles provide a philosophical foundation for business agility. They are based on both lean and flow concepts.
- Promises: The promises are agreements that we make with our fellow teammates, our stakeholders, and other people within our organization whom we interact with. The promises define a collection of disciplined behaviours that enable us to collaborate effectively and professionally.
- Guidelines: These guidelines help us to be more effective in our way of working (WoW) and in improving our WoW over time.
- Learn about the fundamentals of agile and lean, and how to use both approaches to produce business value.
- Explore multiple agile and lean techniques from methods such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe®, and more.
- Understand how to put these techniques into action and ensure effective implementation.
- Learn how to apply the Disciplined Agile toolkit to discover the best way of working (WoW) for you and your team in your unique situation.
It is offered in both online and in instructor led format.
Upon the completion of the course you will be sent an invitation from the PMI for an exam. The invitation will hold the validity of upto 30 days. After this you will be given a badge and the Certificate from the PMI.
Introduction
Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) is a 2-day instructor-led course for experienced agile practitioners that teaches you how to use the Disciplined Agile (DA) tool kit to optimize how teams work, work with allies within your organization, and solve a variety of advanced problems. This 14 PDU course will prepare you to take the DASSM exam and start using Disciplined Agile immediately within your leadership role.
Overview
- Take a deep dive into the DA tool kit to develop a comprehensive understanding of the hundreds of practices and strategies it contains and the trade-offs of applying them.
- Learn how to apply the DA tool kit to guide your teams in choosing and evolving your best way of working (WoW) in any situation.
- Use the DA tool kit to solve complex challenges commonly encountered in both software and operational business teams.
- Learn how to lead agile teams through key enterprise activities, such as planning, coordinating, and reporting, and be ready to show your improvements in areas where your organization is struggling.
- Understand how to improve value delivery for your customers by empowering others in your organization, nurturing emotional intelligence, and resolving conflicts.
Prerequisites
- Two years of experience working in an agile team, ideally in a leadership role such as Disciplined Agile scrum master, scrum master, product owner, or architecture owner.
- Understanding of the fundamentals of the DA tool kit by having done one or more of the following:
- Taken the Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) course
- Taken The Basics of Disciplined Agile online course
- Read section 1, or more, of Choose Your WoW
It is a 2 day trainer led program.
After the completion of the program an invitation from the PMI will be sent to you. The invitation will have a 30 day validity after which you will be given a certificate and the badge from PMI.

- Three years of agile coaching experience – this is advanced training and certification built to maximize leadership and directing of agile teams to effectively implement the Disciplined Agile tool kit.
- Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) Certification.
- 2-3 day training from a Disciplined Agile partner
It is a 2-day Instructor led program.
Once you complete the program you will be sent an invitation via PMI for the DAC exam. The invitation will hold a validity of 30 days, after which you will be offered badge and certification from PMI. The fees of the exam is included in the tuition.
Introduction
The Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant workshop teaches you how to use value stream management to create a tailored approach for any organization to accelerate delivery of value to their customers.
It provides a combination of Lean, Flow, Theory of Constraints and Organizational Development theories and practices. The workshop integrates with the Disciplined Agile tool kit to provide those practices that will be most effective for where it is applied, whether it be a new Agile transition or continuing a stagnated SAFe or Spotify one.
The course will be released in April 2021.

- Be equipped to tailor an organization’s improvement plan based on their unique needs, while also attending to the culture of the organization to evolve at their proper pace.
- Be able to train an organization to continue to improve on their own.
- Know how to accelerate value delivery at scale.
Prerequisites
- Three years of agile coaching experience – this is advanced training and certification built to maximize leadership and directing of agile teams to effectively accelerate value delivery at scale.
- Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) Certification
- 2-3 day training from a Disciplined Agile partner
It's a 2-day Instructor led program.
Once you complete the program you will be sent an invitation via PMI for the DAC exam. The invitation will hold a validity of 30 days, after which you will be offered badge and certification from PMI. The fees of the exam is included in the tuition.
NOTE:
- The certificates offered in DASM and DASSM needs to be renewed after a year. To renew the certificate 7 PDUs in the agile are to be earned with an additional fee of $50.
- The DASM and DASSM exams are administered through Pearson VUE. Each exam is an online, non-proctored test including 50 multiple-choice questions. Students have 90 minutes to complete the exam.
